About Me

Katie Brasington
My name is Katie, and I am a senior undergrad majoring in Communications and Culture as well as a 5th year graduate student majoring in Professional Communication at Clark University. As of now, my focus within the realm of communications is marketing communications. (Though I am very open to exploring the various other facets of professional communication!) I have been fortunate enough to have three different marketing communication internships in three very different fields: medical marketing communications at Boston Scientific Corporation, Arts Management at English National Ballet in London, England, and Bank marketing communications/PR at Rockland Trust. During my sophomore year, I took a class called Computed Mediated Communication which focused mainly on Web 2.0 and how communications have shifted online within the past 5 years. Since then I have been very interested in understanding and using social media platforms in my personal endeavors, as well as understanding their importance from a marketing standpoint.
